TTL to RS485 Converter Module with Automatic Flow Direction Control This compact TTL to RS485 converter module provides a straightforward interface between TTL-level signals and the RS485 bus, making it well suited for industrial control, data acquisition and remote monitoring applications. The onboard automatic flow direction control removes the need for manual direction switching, so the module can be integrated into your project with minimal fuss. Reliable Long-Distance Communication The module incorporates 485 bus lightning protection and anti-interference design, delivering high EMC and EMI performance for dependable operation. For outdoor transmission over extended distances, the module's earthing terminal should be connected to earth to help maintain signal integrity. The inclusion of a 120 ohm matching resistor supports proper line termination; shorting R0 enables the matching resistor, which is recommended for long-distance transmission. Flexible Integration and Multi-Node Support A standard 2.54mm pin header allows convenient connection for secondary development, whether you are prototyping on a breadboard or embedding the module into a custom PCB. The module supports multi-machine communication, allowing at least 40 nodes to be connected on the same network, which is ideal for distributed systems where several devices need to share a single bus.
