Description

Based on the original FT232RNL chip, this USB to serial adapter delivers improved stability, reliability and compatibility. AbS case, compact size, portable and easy to use. Supports USB to RS232 communication or USB to RS485 communication. On board RS232 RS485 switching circuit, switchable by a toggle switch. On board TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) effectively suppresses surge voltage and transient spike voltage in the circuit, anti static. On board self recovery fuses and protection diodes ensure stable output of current and voltage, prevent overcurrent and overvoltage, and improve shock resistance. Use scenarios and applications Connect a PC or laptop to legacy serial devices such as measurement instruments, modems, or serial printers for data acquisition, configuration, or maintenance. Create a USB to RS485 link for field or industrial networks, connecting multiple sensors or controllers over a shared bus. Use in development or service work where quick switching between RS232 and RS485 is required, with built in surge protection and overcurrent/overvoltage safeguards.
