Description

Whole red rice with a fascinating color, grown in Italy. It has a precious, characteristic and very aromatic flavor. This rice is an oriental rice variety that is also grown in Piedmont. It typically grows in very clayey soils, often in the wild. From this derives its aromatic and unmistakable flavor. Compared to refined rice, it contains a greater quantity of fibers and mineral salts. It is an excellent source of carbohydrates as well as vegetable protein. It is recommended to use sautéed with vegetables, spices, condiments, it can also be used to make flans and timbales. Also ideal for preparing salads and cold dishes. Store at room temperature.
